Things to do

There are plenty of things to do in and around Port Germein from walking the historic Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, visiting the Heritage Precinct and art trails along the foreshore.

For nature lovers there are beach walks, hiking and mountain biking in the National Parks and fishing, or catch some of our famous Blue Swimmer crabs. Visit our local produce markets, farm gates and wineries.

You can sit back and relax with a foreshore picnic or BBQ, watching our iconic sunset over the gulf with a cold glass of your chosen beverage. If sporting activities are more your thing, join us at the local bowling or golf club for an outing.

Access to the Southern Flinders is easy and you’ll find plenty more right across the region to keep you entertained from museums and art galleries to gorge walks, places to eat and drink, scenic drives, train rides and flights!
